Maca Bio (or Maca Biologique en poudre) is a product from the Powder Nothing But Plants® range, a French brand despite its American-sounding name. It’s a powder extracted naturally from a plant long recognized in Ayurvedic medicine. If we’re talking about it today, it’s because of its aphrodisiac virtues, so sought-after by many men with problems in bed.
Organic Maca is another product that promises many things to its users and we would like to know if it works well. So how can maca improve a man’s sexual performance? Is this product a good formula? Let’s try to find out this.
Organic Maca , aphrodisiac powder in your salads!
Organic maca is considered by its manufacturer as an innovative concept, a completely different way of consuming food supplements containing healthier foods, mixed with your favorite foods, such as smoothies or… salads.
It must be admitted that the method really changes from tablets or injections. Being able to combine a powdered slimming product, like Maca Bio, with drinks or sprinkle it on dishes, this allows you to remove the restrictive side of the treatment that reminds you of medication. In fact, many people do not tolerate the daily weight associated with routine pill taking.

What does it contain Organic Maca exactly ?
This product, as we said above, belongs to the Powder Nothing But Plants® range which specializes in 100% natural powders extracted from superfoods designed organically in optimized conditions.
Maca (Lepidium meyenii Walp. or Peruvian Ginseng) is a plant cultivated for more than 2000 years in the longest mountain range in the world: the Andes, exactly at Peru. It has long been used by the Incas for its aphrodisiac properties but also for its ability to promote fertility.
The maca contained in the Maca Bio formula is labeled “ecological maca EL DORADO” and is grown in Peru. This extract meets, again according to its manufacturer, the strict requirements of the European Pharmacopoeia. Organic Maca powder comes from the root, the only edible part of the plant. It is full of nutrients: proteins, potassium, calcium and iron. It is also rich in some 18 amino acids whose concentrations are close to those of cow’s milk, fish and eggs. Maca also contains a lot of vitamins (B1, B12, C, E, K).
What does science say about Organic Maca ?
No specific studies on the Maca Bio brand itself, but many other studies have been carried out around the maca plant. These studies were mainly interested in the field of fertility treatment, but also in increasing libido, improving sexual activity and spermatogenesis.
A double-blind placebo study involved a group of people who received maca for 12 weeks. Results showed a clear increase in sexual desire.
Side effects and contraindications of Organic Maca
According to its manufacturer, Maca Bio does not represent any health risk for its users. The product formula was designed in certified laboratories and according to GMP standards, or Good Manufacturing Practices in the long version.
However, it is recommended that maca use does not exceed 3 consecutive months. People with low metabolism may be exposed to increased blood pressure.
Just like any dietary supplement, care must be taken when taking medications at the same time.
How to use Organic Maca ?
For optimal use of this product, you will need to mix 5 grams (1 serving) of maca powder in water, juice, smoothies or milk. You can also choose to use this powder to sprinkle meals and salads.

Our opinion on Organic Maca
We think that Maca Bio is an interesting product given its composition of natural maca extract powder. We see it more as a backup solution than a radical solution against sexual impotence. Maca powder can improve performance as would any other aphrodisiac similar to ginseng, of course. However, it will take more effort and more in-depth solutions to address sexual disorders.
